Happens every single model and Audi won't do anything about it.

Take bulb covers off back, stick some silica gel to them. Replace. Not the point obviously but apparently works a charm? Merry Christmas. Nice Car, love the A7.

I would say happens often but not every single mode. I did not have any issue with my previous A6 4F and I have no issue with my current A7, however I think I read about it in Audis operating manual so check before complain to dealer.

Too late, pics already sent to dealer, let's see what they have to say

    Meanwhile 2 more niggles:
    1. One of my keys unlock the car no issue but when I try to start the car it says 'Key not recognised, hold back of key against marked area.' When I do that it starts. Low battery in the key I guess?

    2. Windows get foggy when the A/C is off, system set to Auto, is that normal?

    1. Typically the key can get unrecognised when is too far from the car while you try to switch it on but the same may happen if key battery is low.

    2. Normal and depends on weather. Just keep th AC always ON even during the winter as the AC also dry the air helping windows stay clear. Bear in mind that in every car the AC compressor require lubrication to avoid leakages and this only happens when the AC is running so to keep the system healthy avoid not running the AC for a long time. I keep the AC on all year long. It is automatic so it adjust itself depends on settings and weather conditions and you can monitor extra fuel consumption on DIS.

it works perfectly when the AC is on.

in previous cars i've had when auto-re-circulation is enabled it didn't get fogged up inside, even with AC off.

on the same lines of thought does anyone know what this does?

I leave my climate control on auto and it does what I need and never have a problem. I used to have it fogged up in the mornings though so now I've got a car dehumidifier bag in the back of the car and keeps it clear all the time, when the bag turns pink it go s in the microwave to refresh itself and its good to go again.

Not had that problem with the key, try a new battery, you can do it yourself in seconds.

    Hi,

I have similar issue with mine, I have bits of debris and I think bugs in the units.... could this possible be damaged seals, I would definitely be interested in what the dealer advises,
