Just to be clear my car doesn't use a regular n75, it uses this vacuum control box to regulate everything.

Ah yes that baby is more expensive! Again it's fitted to many models so I'd start with a scrappy if it don't work he'll give you another. You can buy them from darkside as well or you could PM Crasher of this parish, he sometimes sells VAG parts

My initial thoughts are a vacuum leak, 17964 is nearly always a vacuum leak or the other alternative is a huge boost leak but this normally makes lots of black smoke. The turbo's we fit are set up on a flow rig before fitting and we NEVER mess around with the limit stop.

I haven't touched the stop screw yet, apparently was set up before I got the turbo. At the minute I've set it to 16.5inhg to hit the stop screw.

I've found 2 people local, 1 willing to lend me his vacuum box to see if it makes a difference another has one for sale but just waiting on finding out if it's compatible

The way my.duty cycle jumps about on the logs has a few people thinking it's vacuum, having replaced all vacuum pipes and the whole lower side of the intercooler pipes I can rule this out. There is no smoke at all.

The simple test is to apply a vacuum using the Mk1 mouth to the vacuum source port of the control box and see if it is possible to draw air.

The source will be where it t's into the pipe for the servo coming from the tandem?

I've stuck another vacuum box on and it seems to be better, duty seems more stable and it's higher at 59% some tweaking and it might be ok
