2017 - Audi A6 c8?

OK since Audi doesn’t seem to ask us, let’s tell them:
What would you like to see on the forthcoming Audi built on the C8 platform?
Do you agree with the following?
GPS that actually can work out your shortest route, & calculate a realistic ETA.
- (The current one is C**P!).

Light switch repositioned.
- (My short wife occasionally knocks it & switches it from Auto to off on entering).

Wireless mobile phone charging.
Comfort key that at least tells the time. I think new BMW 5 series key has a screen?
Door handles that are flush with bodywork: - (As Alfa Romeo).
Some sort of cleaning for reversing/manoeuvring camera lenses.
Installed dashcam – HD. integrated with MMI.
What else to add…?

I'd like to see the indicator lights for front and back fog lights (all weather front) in the dis rather than hidden around the back of the steering wheel.

A decent clock (analogue?) On dash. And a light in central display when lights are on. Heated seats as standard. HD screen as standard. Central arm rest that slides as well as tilts.

The ability to add adaptive cruise control and rear rail system, without having to buy a "special package". And rear cup holders.

Try a Jaguar before you criticise the sat nav, in comparison the Audi is pretty good. Now I've set it to give me 3 choices of route I don't have a huge problem. If I want a specific route that it hasn't given me, I'll set off and then reset again as I get closer, it will usually then offer it up as an option. No sat nav is perfect.........mainly because people think they know what the fastest route is and the sat nav doesn't always agree.

The Wireless charging should be there as its now in the new Q7 and A4

I'm guessing all the tech from both those will be across in C8

What more does the car need? I just really hope they don't go for the new A4 style stick out screen and keep a retractable one

A decent clock (analogue?) Couldn't agree more. My wife drives ours Monday to Friday. If I drive it at the weekend I forget where the clock is. Its pathetic.

Just punt the Audi sat nav completely and provide google maps navigation as standard including Google sourced traffic.

If this means paying Google for this then that would be a good investment. Audi navigation is about 10 years behind in the navigational capability of a smartphone with Google maps and it can't possibly catch up. Just admit defeat. Concentrate on what you're good at, and outsource to the experts for navigation.

Sort out the Bluetooth debacle where I have to manually disable Bluetooth in order to play music through the AMI connector. The MMI should be smart enough to auto disable this if it detects a wired connection, and reconnect if the Bluetooth audio is selected. The current stopgap of just flashing up a warning about poor audio performance unless the Bluetooth is disabled is a lazy sub standard response to the issue. Fix it, properly, now!

Apple CarPlay wirelessly. And wireless charging. We have a wireless hotspot in today's cars. Why do we need to physically connect a phone for Apple CarPlay when this can be done wirelessly with today's technology?

AGREED! - Actually, my choice would be to out-source the GPS to TomTom. - Still far better than Audi's GPS offering.
I have Google maps. - Novelty value only. - The roads overlay, (presumably from Audi), is/was hopelessly out-of-date from day one.
Regarding playing music. Am I the only one that gets p****d off by the car always starting with the music playing, even if it was last turned off with the music also turned-off.
I would like this fixed pleased.

Agree with all the above but especially some lights on the dash to tell you when lights are on and sliding armrest.
I heard that the fixed screen might be getting rolled out across the range due to some German legislation but hopefully that's a rumour. It is the one thing which is really putting me off the new A4.
