Does anyone know if this is possible? Basically the Mrs is always cold and now wants me to fit a heated steering wheel to her 2012 A5. Is it possible and where is the switch located to put it on and off? I dont think it will be that hard to do, just a quick swap for the current one and some coding to tell the car it has a heated wheel?

    Thanks in advance

having a quick look online and through the parts cvat there never was a heated steering wheel offered as an option for the 8K chassis.

came on the 4g a6 but as the wiring, button config and steering controllers are different i would be surprised if it worked due to the vast difference in parts.

Mate, you're far too generous. A nice pair of leather gloves would serve the same purpose I believe? Or maybe some seasonal ones with Santa and reindeer? ;-)

Thanks all, guess a pair of gloves will have to suffice. 🏻
