Car passed MOT however I have the brake warning light on the dash. I tend to go genuine parts for the important stuff, and asked the local garage to source genuine Audi front disks and pads. They were being charges £355 by Audi for the same parts I can walk in and buy for £315. Garage has in writing from Audi the pads need a new set of bars / sliders / whatever but Audi say I don't.

Anyway Audi are quoting £399 fully fitted so £44 for fitting and the car gets washed and hoovered.
That is the standard Audi price for disks and pads on a car over 3 years. Fixed price services < Servicing and MOT < Owners Area < Audi < Audi UK

Jo, if your location was more specific rather than 'United Kingdom' we might be able to offer some advice as to where else you could go and get your tranny serviced at a more competitive price using OEM parts and fluids

So if you were in Scotland it would be Auto RepairÂ*Tollcross,Â*GlasgowÂ*|Â*Mackie Automatic & Manual Transmissions
If the West country then Gearbox Repair- Bristol Transmissions - Automatic- Gearbox Repairs - Manual Transmissions- Transfer Boxes - Differentials -Bristol Transmissions

I had my C6's tranny oil and filter changed for £320 inc at the latter.
    XK8 96 Dyno'd at 305 and LPG converted, a mere 65ppl
    A6 07 3.0 quattro tip SE Limo, black,black leather/tints /black alloys/towbar/Alientech Eco Remap/quads/Rear DVD screens/Pogo Alert+
