    Hello.

I have searched for similar symptoms to what I'm experiencing but I can't find much info.

Ahhaa you say, an 06 multitronic that will be...... well what I experience is a judder (like a misfire but not a misfire) when the car is stationary in P or N its slightly better when the cars warmed up but its eating away at me, the impending doom of gearbox failure.

So is there anything else it can be?

    Oil change?
    Clutch?
    ECU?

Its an 06 avant 2.0 tdi 140 BRE with just about every option 47k FASH its a nice car but I cannot afford new gearbox money at the moment, in fact I can't afford anything right now but with this car I have a lot of expensive bills to look forward to.

Lastly what are the chances that AUDI would do this under warrantee? lol.

Thanks in advance any help is gratefully received!!!

    many thanks for your response.

forgot to mention it's just had a service from an indy specialist I asked them to change the gearbox oil but they said it didn't need doing but after reading up on the gearbox it's sounds as though it's a ******* job as the oil has to be added at different temperatures or something?

DIY an acronym of going to a big shed and spending a lot of money on chinese rubbish then returning home to attempt making your life better and failing miserably??? or perhaps something else???

    New to audi ownership.

    thanks again!
