    Hi,

Having a yellow power steering warning. Scanned the car and gave me a fault code: 101c60. This on is unknown. Do any of you know what it refers to? Thanks for the help

What have you scanned it with, and what year/model/age/mileage is your car?

    Hi,

The car is an A6 2.0 tdi with a multitronic gearbox. 2012 years model taken into use november 2011. Has been running approx 40 000 mileage. The car was scanned with a scanner provided by autocom (autocom.se). This was a strange looking fault code.

First and cheapest check your PAS fluid level and top up, my 07 3.0 uses green hydraulic fluid (but the cap will say).

Do you notice that the steering is heavier than before?

No idea what that scan tool is, find someone with VCDS/VAGCOM if the light doesn't go when topped up.

Or go to your Audi dealership, which google tells me is here:

Does the C7 use fluid as it is an electric PAS system?

Had a similar fault on our polo and it required a new power steering rack motor, cost over £500 fitted, although VW wanted over £800 for the motor alone. May of course just be a blown fuse
