    Hi,

Just reading about auxiliary heating system (helps when the engine is cold via a small diesel heater), my question is can it be retrofitted to the A7?

I know it's not a UK option due to the emissions.

    Thanks in advance

For the length of time we get cold weather to warrant a Webasto its not financially viable to fit one.

    Thanks for the quick reply,

I have a short 6m commute so pre-heating should help prolonging engine life, and defrost the cab especially in the winter months, what sort of cost ~£1000?

€1900 before fitting, totally not worth it in this country. It's not offered as an option for a reason.

You'd be better just getting in and driving and letting it heat up that way. You'll be doing it no good letting it idle.
