Jeez! I didn't know it was that much. For that, I am prepared to press the button!

The foot swing works well but is badly described in the User manual. I find that a simple, single forward/backward swing of a foot to slightly under the bumper lip does the job every time. I think they talk about "pressing on a pedal" in the manual, or something like that. It took me several goes to get the technique but now it works every time.

The "foot swing " to get to the boot to open - is that FL only ?

i have keyless entry , but didn't know about the "foot swing"

It isn't FL-only, but it is Avant-only, I think.

Thx , I have the saloon , I will look for the sensor - I guess under rear bumper.

re living with keyless entry - key in coat pocket - open door - done! , also if you get out of the car with any /all of the windows open and you press the button on the door handle to lock the car , if you continue to hold the button Windows close.

The foot kick works on saloon too. All Audis will close the windows if you hold the remote control button, will also open if you hold the open button on the remote. The big advantage for me is you can't lock your keys in the car. I have put my keys in the boot and closed it and it pops up until I realised I had left my keys inside!

Just had look in the manual pages 31,34,35 nothing about opening boot with "foot swing"

I believe the price for the avant keyless is £750 and £1100 for the saloon. Not sure why there is such a difference though!
£750 i suppose is just about palatable on a 4 yr pcp if you want the tech.

On the saloon you get the electric boot lid as well. Standard on the avant that's why it's extra

That's just an extension of the standard key behaviour (i.e., pre-and-hold the lock on the remote keyfob, and all the windows go up, or press-and-hold the unlock button and the front windows drop).
