    Hi,

    I have a audi a4 auto 1.8t auto and i have started to have a really strange issue with my car. When driving my car looses power to the wheels the car revs but no power no lights on dash board or nothing .I have to pull up turn the car off and start the the car again and all is fine.. This is really making stressed out as no one can find out whats wrong as AA have been called done a diagnostic on the car but nothing. Please Help me!!!

    The system the AA is using is missing a fault in the transmission ECU, it probably isn't even seeing it, they are a breakdown service, not a permanent repair service. You need to take it to a garage and get the car properly code read with a system the properly scans VAG vehicles.

    I will do that. This just happened again but this time the EPC light came on and the car was not reving between 1000-2000rpm by it self up and down.. agian turning the car off and turning itt on resolved it.. any ideas what's the issue before taking it to the garage..

    It could be any one of a dozen different problems, a full scan code read of all the vehicles systems will help, make sure you get a printed code report.
