Service Due Indicator

Hi,

Recently had delivery of a 13 A5 Sportsback. Purchased at a local BMW dealership, the car was due to have a full service before I collected it but when I brought it home the service due warning comes on when I switch off the engine. I have to call into the dealer next week so they can bring it to the local Audi garage to reset this. I'm going to ask for the breakdown of what was covered in this so called service when I call in.

How likely is it that a service was done but the BMW mechanics don't have the required equipment to reset the service interval?

They've probably serviced it but guessing since they're a BMW dealer, which services BMW's, they won't have the VAG tool to reset Audi service indicators.
