Hi there was wondering if anyone can help I've had LED sidelight bulbs in my B6 2010 PASSAT one of them has just gone and I can't remember where I had them from all I know is they were Canbus Free LEDS and I didn't need extra resistors. Does anyone know where I can get some from.
    Thanks in advance
    Justin

Contact Tahir1 of Imperial Automotive Lighting. I buy from him. You'll want ones that have a white match to your headlights.
Let him know whether you've got HIDs or just the standard filiament Halogens

I don't think he'll have anything to match halogen headlights , most of his led's are 6000K .

He does. I changed my W5W to match the warmer white of Philips Extravision (about 4000k) when one of my Osram Nitebreakers failed after 10 months (5000k). Otherwise it looks naff IMO to have a "pure" white sidelight with only a warm white head

    Philips Extravision ?

Osram Nightbreakers aren't 5000K Rich even the latest Unlimited version is only 3600K but yes warm white LED sides of 4000K is the best solution for top halogen headlight bulbs .

The W5W LEDs I had in previously matched the Osrams (the earlier versions)

Too many bulbs on the market , Philips Vision Plus , Diamond Vision , White Vision , Crystal Vision etc .

I'm surprised at 3350k the old +100 % Philips Xtreme Vision matched 4000k led sides , I've Osram 4000K LED sides and at an angle my iirc Nightbreaker Plus 3500k are yellower , I imagine the +130% Philips Xtreme Vision 3700k or Diamond vision 4300k would be the best matches .

I should upgrade. Was waiting for all the hiatus over HID to die down and resolve into whether MOT tests reject or not aftermarket HID fitting. Apparently, yes and no! Besides which I've got Valeo fitting which doesn't help

Re your last, it's my old Osrams that matched the whiter LED sides, my current (older version) Philips Xtreme Vision match the warmer

Think I've got it now , lol .

The Osram Nightbreaker Plus +90% 3500k matched 4000k led sides and the Philips Xtreme Vision +100% 3350k matched std halogen sides ?
