2001 Passat diesel Tdi AWX .167000mls

Just had clutch and flywheel done because of judder. Since then engine has now got a bad shuddering when accelerating under load,eg steep hill.Does not seem to be clutch as this quite smooth in operation.. My question, stupid as it might seem is, Could a sensor have been disconnected or as the battery was disconnected could this have affected the engine management system. It seems too coincidental that it was OK before the fitting of the clutch. There is no black smoke, fuel consumption is normal and engine does not use any oil. Also runs perfectly other than trying to accelerate up hill..

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated..

Maybe a mount is loose or needs tightening, like the gearbox mount.

Best take it back ASAP just to double check, my mates car recently had a judder and he left it till it was too late,
And a Bolt worked itself loose on the gearbox which led to the engine & gearbox swinging which ended in crunched gears and a recon gearbox.
Green locctite should be used at all times.

Follow on to this problem. Took it back to garage and all checked out on ramp. They allowed me to witness that all was tight and mounts all OK. Turns out the problem is ME! I tend to let the revs drop too low and if I try to give it welly at or under 1000 rpm it protests (rightly so!) if the gear is too high.( My excuse is I am a bus driver used to low revving diesels!) I feel a right prat! Thanks to the replies, sorry to be a time waster!
