    totally flat fold down seats?....sorry am picking this sub forum at random!...looking for an estate I can throw a single mattress in to sleep on.

    The B5 and 5.5 do, cannot speak for any other older or newer models though.

    2nded for B5.5, fold nigh on completely flat. And it is also, IMO, the best of the passats. Certainly wouldn't be without it.

    My 2010 B6 seats folks flat - the bases lift and fold forwards, the seat backs drop into the space.

    I'll be throwing an airbed in and sleeping bag in there for MTB nights out if its raining or the pub was calling to loudly before I got the tent up!
