    Yes, like I wrote.
It was faulty dpf sensor. Easy fix and sensor itself is not that expensive. But I didn't know. Dealer charged me 100£
    No problems after that
    Hope it helps.

Tomas did you scan errors with VCDS? How was the bad DPF sensor diagnosed?

    Hi Tomas,
Where you able to fix your issue with the starting problem? I have the same issue with my 2012 Audi A6 Avant and the car is now sitting with the main dealer where they are spending hours trying to diagnose the issue.

Yes, after they have changed DPF sensor there were no more problems. Although it might be something else in your case, apparently loads of things can cause it. EGR, damaged wiring etc.

Thanks for the info. Can you please confirm if you had any tyre or suspension related issues just before this fault occurred?

I had a faulty wheel bearing and badly worn front control arms which made the whole car vibrate and rattle. Soon after this I experienced the starting issue. Just trying to understand if it is related.

Another friend of mine had a rear tyre blow out on his almost new A7 and a week later he has the same starting issue with the same fault code as yours and mine.

No, no problems related to suspension or tyres.

I was blaming humidity. A day or two drove on highway when it was very rainy and huge puddles. So I though that maybe water somehow damaged sensor. But that can be totally unrelated.
