This sounds like a complete nightmare!!! Was it an Audi dealer you were taking it to?
i was searching elsewhere on the net and seen someone with the same problem and they changed the G-419 YAW SENSOR and it
solved the problem, do you know if you have tried this?
I,m taking mine to the local Audi specialist in the next few days, if I have any joy I,ll let you know.

Yes, all this annoys me to no end.
I didnt know about this sensor and its fault, after quick google search I can see that for some it did help.

For me they changed g294 Brake servo pressure sensor, cost me nearly 300 pounds, and did absolutely nothing. And it was official dealer here in Norway. I will email them, will ask if they did check it and how much could it cost.
Hopefully it is that sensor that is faulty.
Let me know how it goes with your car.

Sorry if I am taking this thread up again.

Some updates from my side. I did change EGR valve, though I didnt know if it was faulty, just decided to start slowly changing parts.
Anyway, I did drive one week errors free, almost thought it worked, but no cigar. Same errors came up.

In addition engine management light came up and doesn't turn off, like it used to do after a day or two. So they checked and are saying it could be DPF pressure sensor, so they will change that and while at it will look for errors of course not for free. But I am ho[ping they will find something and I will get rid of this headache.

I own a Q5 and it is having the same problem.
My local AUDI dealer has changed the clutch (near 600 euros) but the problems still exists.
    Another piece we can discard

    Hi,
thanks for reminding me, was going to post news about my car here, but kept forgetting.
I think I have mine fixed, its been 3 weeks, and no errors.

I did change EGR valve (heard from few people that it helped them) - but it wasnt it. Still errors came on.
But then after some time Engine Management light come on. It was on before but after a day or two it would be gone. This time it was on whole week.
Drove my car to dealer, they checked for errors and found that it was DPF sensor that was faulty. Its called Exhaust Pressure Sensor.
They changed it (around 100eur with work) and no errors since. That's 3 weeks now.
I cant say that I am 100% sure, but never was this long between errors. And I did stop and start engine after short time for few times, that would almost always bring error back.

    059 906 051A - Exhaust Pressure Sesnor - NEW from LSC: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike
31 pounds on amazon. And I have seen youtube video where they show how to change it. Pretty simple job, unfortunately I found out that about it too late, would have saved 70euros

So for me it was Exhaust Pressure Sensor/DPF sensor.
I spent 900 euros on replacing part that were perfectly fine. And it was a 30 euro part that was faulty.

No, I thought that EGR valve was the cause of all of this (forums and talking to other gave me this idea) But it was not.
In my case it was DPF sensor that was faulty.
