Hi All, I'm screwing my head up with this
When at running temp and under full load I get a boost leak type of noise. Now I have smoke tested the charge system, replaced the DV and I have just piped the DV straight from the N112 under the inlet manifold but i'm still getting the noise. Could it be that the N112 is sticking allowing charge to pass through the DV thus making this noise?

So i'm now thinking it has got to be an issue with the standard DV not having a strong enough spring. Might try a cheap adjustable one off fleabay.

you could try removing the dv and blanking off the holes, see if that cures it. only as a test though... a cheap ebay one, your choice, but if you get a forge you can get stronger springs.

Thanks Zollaf, I did consider that but chickened out! I should be alright to just clamp the high pressure side and test should't I?

Right.......New DV arrived today, installed the strongest spring and no difference, so I started to rip it all apart only to find the inlet hose has a split where the breather joins it. I'm hoping this may be the cause of the noise and occasional hesitation due to un-metered air..... so back to ebay again!
