    Default Dab ariel vcds error 00856 – 08-08-2015,02:23 PM
    Audi a6 limited edition 2008

    Hi audi lovers, just retro fitted Dab module 4e0 910 563 C with harness from eBay and sonichi magnetic dab aerial bought from halfords. Dab module has been coded in by independent garage via vcds

    Vcds error shows one fault found -

    00856 radio antenna
    010 open or short to plus
    Freeze frame
    Fault status 01101010

    What do I need to get dab to work? mmi says update radio list when I do it nothing happens. Please help as I have nearly spent 200 quid and have no dab!

    I didn't push the aerial all the way into dab module. Lesson to myself never try to connect the aerial without having three weetabix first lol. Dab works fine.
