Title just about sums it up.

2005 3.0 Tdi Quattro. I get no light to say seatbelt unfastened either with person oin driver seat, in passenger seat, or both and no boing alarm for either driver seat or both seats occupied.

    Any ideas where to look?

I suppose Audi might have done that, accidentally, while servicing. It certainly used to work.

17 Instrument Cluster 07 coding. I find the boing is annoying so is off 364 days of the year and back on for the MoT in case they're being fussy.

Maybe would have helped had you said:

I've had my 2005 3.0 TDi for 3yrs and have covered 50k miles, both seatbelt warnings suddenly stopped working after it went in for a service at Audi.

    Just a thought!

Ah well! To say "I've had my 2005 3.0 TDi since new and have covered 101k miles, both seatbelt warnings suddenly stopped working after it went in for a service at Audi" would have been a good thing to say (but really wouldn't have needed saying being a bit toward the obvious end of the spectrum) if I had connected the warnings stopping with the service. But in the way of things I normally wear my seatbelt so don't expect to hear a boing anyway and don't notice that a light isn't on, because I don't expect it to be. So when, by chance, I did notice it the service was long gone., and I guessed it might be a fuse but the seat-belt warning system doesn't seem to have a fuse (not mentioned in the list in the manual) so I came back to this wonderful forum which in the past saved me £2500 paying for a new set of diesel injectors because I discovered here it was a known fault and persuaded my dealer that Audi should pay for it!

So I'll get 17 Instrument Cluster 07 looked at!

    Thanks all

i hate any buzzers or other warnings, so if its stopped then i would be happy about it. incidentally, its got nothing whatsoever to do with the mot test, no matter how picky the tester might be.
