Another lovely warm but cloudy day today so decided to wash and wax my car (did the wife's last week) and was just waiting for the wax to dry when it decided to rain, quite hard! Just wondering will there be any negative effects or can I just dry and buff it when it stops?

Turns out it's ok. Now clear skies and bright sunshine and it's come up a treat. Some of the wax had dried and was quite hard to buff off but looks really good. Will get some pictures after dinner.

A quick spritz with some good quality QD will help with that, helps to avoid marring the paint too.

Only problem I could see with this is that rain drops hold dust or get dust blown on the car after the rain which sticks, you then go over the wax with the dried rain including the dust and rub away, could cause swirl marks.

I know a bit late on the reply but good info anyhow.
