    2009 A4 S line Avant

I have noticed that my drivers headlight is higher or that the passengers is lower, not sure which is set correctly, I have read it can be manually set via screws at the back of the light but cant find any info for a procedure I can follow for aligning them correctly i.e a set distance I can park from a wall and the correct height up the wall the beam should fall to, also some people say it needs to be set via vag, is this true? any info please?

Go to most tyre shops and they will have the machine for beam setting your lights, they are adjustable but need the machine to set them properly, just make sure the in car adjuster switch is set at 0 when you get them set.

The Op's car is an S Line, so it has Xenons. I think the advice in the last post applies only to bog standard halogen lights where there is an in-car
    height adjuster.

The xenon headlights can still be adjusted via the beam setter.

The auto levelling is only there to allow for weight differences in the rear of the vehicle. This does not alter the fixed beam position of the bulb.
