Question re locating fuses in 2013 Golf Estate

I am trying to locate the fuse for the cigarette lighter in my 2013 Golf estate. Not sure where they are located (possibly under the bonnet?) or which one it is when I find it. I can't find any help in my manual nor via the Internet. I am new to the forum so thanks in advance for any suggestions

Hi, I guess you'll be sorted by now, but if not, with my car, there is a fuse panel on the side of the dashboard that's blocked when you close the drivers door (you have to remove a plastic panel to get to it. Failing that, could be somewhere in the engine bay. The manual that came with the car, should have something in it which tells you where the fuses are. There may also be a fuse card inside with the fuse panel that tells you what the fuses are for. Anyway, imagine your sorted by now, just my thoughts.

Yes thanks, managed to work this out. Exactly as you say, hidden on the side of the dashboard. Unfortunately the neither the manual nor the Internet were helpful at all.

Hi, just noticed the reply! No worries, Bit surprised the manual and/or internet were not helpful. TBH, I would of looked for a hidden 'openable' plastic panel or trim that looks like it comes apart or has some kind of 'handle' on it. Anyway, good to know your sorted.
