    Hi all
    I have just got a audi a3 2009 I looking to install a Bluetooth system or new stereo it has a bose system after 3 week of waiting for the lead to change the stereo cant get the one I need and I have been told I cant get Bluetooth fitted unless I go to audi to get it programed
    I would like a audi one with Bluetooth but audi said they cant help

    So which "lead" have you purchased??

    You don't need Audi to program it, only someone with VCDS to enable it if you're fitting the genuine factory Bluetooth, which btw, you can fit yourself pretty easy.

    I haven't got a lead I have give up on the idea of changing the stereo going to look at oem ones what is VCDS

    Vcds a computer system which can interact with your car and give you the ability to view faults, change setup and add stuff to the car, you either need it, find someone with it who may help or go to a garage with one who will charge about £90 to program/read your car info.
    There are lots of posts about VCDS in the forum plus a map of users with it who may be able to help. But you first need the cable, attachment to the radio. Which one are you looking at?
    It might also be interesting for us if you post what radio unit you have in the car.

    I am not sure what is your ideal setup, I looked at a device like - Dension Gateway Lite 3 iPhone iPod Usb Bluetooth Audi A3,a4,r8,tt Rns - E/ - Low | eBay before I discovered I had Bluetooth already.

    I am looking for a complete new stereo complete with sat nav and Bluetooth what leads do I need cause I have quadlock and bose
