Need some help identifying which rack I've got.
My 2003 bora steering rack was leaking so replaced it with a second hand part but after it was delivered I found it to be as bad as my original, the breakers changed it no problem when looking at the rack they give me the 2nd time it looked different but it lined up with the holes in the subframe so didn't worry too much. Then after rebuilding I found the track rod ends curved the opposite way from my original. After removing them to replace them as they were both broken I've found that my originals didn't fit, so got 2 from a motor factor to find the don't fit. The steering arms on the rack from the breakers are thicker than my arms.

Any ideas as to what it's off? I'm not able to phone the breakers until Monday.

For brakes or steering, don't take chances. It's either. 100% correct part or its not.

Yeah far better to stick with what was original or exact equivalent, and best option is probably to repair your own one.
