Unless you have a genuine brand new loom which is guaranteed to be 100% faultless, I would suggest that your fault is still in the loom where it folds at the A-pillar or potentially another fault further inside the door.

Just read the original thread start again, the only other thing I can think of is the motor is playing about , potentially because the regulator has an issue with corroding cable/frayed cable seizing partially at a certain point ( along the bottom ).
That said , if your garage fitted the new/repaired part of the loom I would have expected that they would have inspected and tried the system before re- installing the door furniture.
I think its the loom, but if you can discount any of my ideas wholly, you need a fault scan by an auto electrician, or at Audi for around £100 per hour
