Hi Guys, I recently bought a load of B7 RS4 parts (needed a few, others I don't) and I need to test the instrument cluster to resell it.
I have plenty of repair wires to power up the clocks but need to know the pinout. Can anyone help?
    thanks

If you don't know what you're doing I'd put it on a popular auction website. If you plug it into a car you'll get most functions except revs and mph

Yes I know what you mean, plugging the car into it will show warning lights indicators, mileage etc, It won't start. Other alternative is to sell as "untested" obviously you wouldn't get as much fo it

Unfortunately I don't own an A4, I drive a Skoda Octavia I am not expecting a fortune tbh, just don't want to disappoint anyone. Its a 8e0920981r cluster, am I right in presuming this is the full colour MFD?

more chance of it working with the skoda mate.
best to sell it as untested, no warranty... or send it to bbareman to get it tested, but thats going to cost as much if not more than you would get. the immobiliser is part of the cluster, so without the right keys and ecu, you are on a road to nowhere.
Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...
