Just to make sure have a look at your rear calipers and if you can see a pin on top that looks to come out like the fronts that is the correct set.

These are a common upgrade for the Americans as they cut down the dust no end.

I had to use Jurid as hawk don't do the rear pads for mine.

    Pm sent!!

Pagid are a recommended brand, as used by AudiTechnik and others, I have them on my A6 and also on my Jaguar XJ, they're reasonably priced, not too bad on brake dust and last well....
Looks like you've got 2 Indy's to chose from,.......

    AudiTechnik Bishopbriggs
    A4Audi Clydebank

    I've used both myself

    Good luck

I think I'm going to go work the Technik boys. They're coming across just that little bit "nicer" over the phone. I'm a believe of customer relations. After all eople do business with people.
Thanks for the help. I tried to reply to your pm, but seeing as you're a popular little boy (😂 &#128514 the message couldn't be sent because your inbox is full!

Did rear pads on mine last week only took an hour, got them from car parts for less, part of euro car parts, really easy to do, go for pagid pads, they are the o/e fitment, they even say pagid on the o/e ones

Hi, I think I've finally decided to take the plunge! I'm going to get them done at home with the help of a friend who's a mechanic. From all your advice and support, it seems a pretty straight forward enough procedure. I'd rather pay him (with 2 bottles of 24yr old Single Malt!) than pay a garage!

My 4.2tdi (340) is just under 400bhp with a remap and a remapped torque limited gearbox.
I agree with this - how have you got another 100bhp out of that engine?

⛳!! Typo! I wish it had 344! *blushes*. Sorry to disappoint you boys, but it produces 304 BHP. Not 344.

I paid for a MTM Performance Remap
Titanium Exhaust (adapted) from Miltek from one designed for an S6
And the turbo boost has been increased alongside replacing the injectors.
I'm still young in terms of experience in car modifications, but I'm slowly getting there, always erring on the side of caution. I tend to rather use a few guys I trust that have a lot of professional experience in tuning whatever cars I have at the time.

Sounds like you're building quite the beast there, any photos?

I don't have many pix. Just a few exterior shots. The crappy weather here doesn't help! I feel like I'm perpetually washing and waxing! So photo opps are far and few between. But here a a few I have. They're not studio quality mind...
