S line vs S line special edition engine

Hi, I'm new to the forum so sorry if this has been asked before but I've searched and can't find any info.

I'm just wondering what the difference is in the engines of the A4 s line (197ps) and the special edition (217ps). Do the 2 lumps have different internals, different turbos etc or is it something as simple as just a different map?

depends on the engine number, I'm currently trying to sell my A4 special edition which comes with the BUL engine which has 217HP. But I know its nothing more than the map thats changed between the 200 and 217. But the BUL engine seems to be a different beast, fitted to the A4 DTM special edition (not the real DTM type cars) with the carbon fibre addons, but its still a 2.0 with a different map and still uses the KS02 turbo.
