VW Detachable Towbar, Help Needed???

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone would be able to help!! I have a factory fitted Detachable Towbar, (oris), Part No- 1T0 092 155. Unfortunately we have recently lost the key.. Luckily we have the bar on so we are still able to tow, but would like to be able to remove the bar when it is not in use.

I went to our local VW Dealer who advised us that they were on back order and could take 1 week to 6 months and maybe longer... What I was wondering was, maybe somebody here has the same key, I believe there are about 50 different types. If they could have one cut and send it to me... Obviously there would be no cost to whoever may be able to help..

This may sound cheeky and a long shot but you never know your luck and thought it maybe the quicker option..

The key code I am after is 045... This is stamped on the lock barrel

If nobody on the forum is able to help, maybe try ordering a key direct from the towbar manufacturer :
ORIS (Spare Keys - top/right)
