I don't pay a huge amount of attention to it buddy but it averages about 40, mostly driving to and from work an hour at a time and I don't spare the horses. ..

Hi guys, the thermostat seems to give me a couple more miles, but still around the 30 mpg mark. I just don't understand why I don't get around 40????

Oil and air filter changed recently
Thermostat changed
Has 4 New Goodyear tyres.

There is a vibration that comes from the Engine, possibly egr valve or egr pipeline, it's like a tapping sound which reduces with speed.

I've also noted the fuel filter is rusty on the corners, surely even if the filter needs changing it shouldn't reduce fuel economy?????
