bluetooth/ volume control on steering wheel.

Hi all,

Been a while.

Anyone know how to get the bluetooth and volume control on the steering wheel back up and running.

I haven't had the time to get round to this problem that I brought on up until now, but a while back I accessed the secret menu and deleted it all. I used the recovery Cd's, I believe there were 3 cds. Everything came back to life except the volume button and the radio control on the steering wheel.

I recently changed my phone and noticed that I was unable to connect, shows how much I used those button really but its more that I can connect the new phone to the car.

Was I supposed to do another round in the installation part and put the Cd's in again maybe I never got the bluetooth module installed etc or the button functions.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I saw someone on audiworld mention you need to install the Bluetooth twice to get it operational. Put the disc in to run once, then eject and run again from what I've read :-)

Recovery CDs?

MMI 2G high?

What did you delete in the hidden menu? This is why you don't go in there without knowing what you're doing!

Have you had a fault scan? Might be a fault with the steering buttons.
