    Hello guys,

Since I got a lot of info from forums before changing parts to my car, I decided to give it back. I'm gonna put some pictures and explain what I modified step by step.
The pictures posted are just the ones I found on my phone, so sorry for the quality!

So first, the car. I bought it in september 2014. It is a A6 2.0TDI 2012 Sedan without S-Line but with sport seats. Standard 17" rims.

    1. I didn't like the small exhausts on one size so I put the S-Line diffuser on the standard bumper and reconstructed the exhausts. 115 mm round tips.

    2. The car was lacking some power, it had only 177hp and I was used to a 2.0TSI Scirocco with 296hp. So i decided to do a remap. The car was dyno tested afterwards: 235hp and 467Nm.

    3. Rims 18"8.5J ET32 with 255/45 R18 tires. I sold them quickly after 6 months because there was no contrast on the car.

    4. S6 front end. I saw this picture from MTM

And decided to do it. The missing covers for the towing hook and washing system were added later. (they didn't fit from one bumper to the other).

    5. A7 S-Line 19" rims 8J ET26 with 255/40 R19 tires

    6. S6 steering wheel with round airbag and the dash board with color display

    Before: (pic from google)

    After:

    7. Waiting for the arrival of the H&R springs (35mm)

    8. RS6 custom rear end (in progress)

    Just received this:

After it should look like this:

    9. I am looking for this spoiler from the trunk. If anybody knows a nice one, please let me know (but not the big cheap looking ones). The 500 euro price tag from Audi is a bit too high for me.

    10. More stuff coming soon. I hope! If you guys have questions about any of the transformations, let me know.

I appreciate comments and opinions. I still have most of the parts I've taken of. If somebody is interested about either one of them, pm.

Great job! A few question though: did the S-line diffuser require any modifications (either the bumper or diffuser itself) ? Also, that S6 front - did you go for OEM bumper / grille or something else.?

The S-line diffuser doesn't fit into the non S-line bumper. The connections from the bumper were cut and then I could fit it with screws.

Yes, It is the OEM S-line bumper and the OEM S6 grill. Careful: you need also the covers for the towing hook and headlight washers from the sline/s6. PS: the S-line bumper and the S6 bumper are identical, so the grill did fit perfectly without any modification

So, I got all the parts for the RS6 rear conversion. Here is the picture with the diffuser on top of the S-Line bumper. The connections don't match, so this is not a plug and play job, I will modify the bumper next week.

So I finally mounted the RS6 diffuser and exhaust tips on my A6 Sedan. Below you can see "a teaser".
I will upload pictures with the part painted and on the car later today, i must download them from the phone.

So, about the conversion: It is time consuming, a lot... it took us two days to complete and I still want to book another couple of days so that I can take care of the details.

I live in Austria but the conversion was done back home in Romania mainly due to costs and flexibility.

here is a picture hours before the start of the process

The diffuser was fitted by cutting away the connections from the bumper. There is a gap at each side of it because the RS6 bumper is bigger than the S-Line bumper.

    The gap was then filled

The existing pipes were cut down

Exaust tips were mounted on the plastic part that must be fitted to the diffuser (you need to adjust it and make connections of your own).

Everything was painted in the colour of the car (lx7u)

Because the grey trim was now fixed between the bumper and the diffuser, it could not be painted separately. So we painted it on the car.

    And the finished product

Advice: If you are not completely sure you want this diffuser, DON'T START THE PROJECT! The previous diffuser and tips was easier to mount as it was almost plug and play on the non s-line bumper. But this is a whole new story. I still have to book a second trip back home to take care of the details, probably will paint it once again.
