    I notice on the myaudi website there is the free update on the map database, anyone had any luck getting this to work, I downloaded them onta a sd card after putting it in the car I couldn't get any further.
    Audi A7 3.0 bitdi slide black edition, daytona grey, lunar silver seats. Options advanced key, tech pack, led interior lighting, 20inch titanium alloys.

    I Logged into my audi website. But could not found any map updated. Where did you download it from can you please explain more? Thanks.
    Arrived: Audi A7 Quattro Black Edition 245 ps, 21 inch rotor. Tech pack. Phantom Black.
    Gone: AUDI A6 - 2011, DAYTONA GRAY, 2.7 TDI QUATTRO S LINE SPECIAL EDITION. MMI 3G. DVD PLAYER. 19 INCH.

    It's on your home page, you should have a personlised image of your vehicle, it's below that, update maps.

    Same for me, I have a previously owned 2011-model.
    I read somewhere that both the web-based map-updates and the Online Traffic services are connected to previous owner and cannot be transferred.

    I did this for my car - 64 plate. I think you get free updates for the first 3 years.
    Did you go through the MMI menu and select the update option?

    When I insert the sd card it just remains greyed out

    I checked mine today. The SD card with the map update was loaded in the right hand slot. It shows up highlighted on the list to select. Did you check formatting etc of the SD. I used a 32 GB card.

    Only if the car came with Navigation Plus will you see the updates available on the My Audi website. I had this out with Audi a few months ago. Standard A7 nav gets no free updates.

    Navigation Plus comes with the Tech Pack, along with the bigger LCD and 4G data which you can also use to do the update over the air.
