I used this garage earlier this week. Top bloke, knows the cars inside out. Needed to get my cambelt done and he quoted me £400 all in using genuine audi parts. Will definately be using him again.

Used this garage this week had a few bits done at a fraction of the cost quoted by Blackburn Audi. Excellent job, fantastic price will be using them more often.

Hi, first time on the forum, so apologies if wrong site etc. I have an A4 Cabriolet 06 plate and have a problem withe hood. Basically it wouldn't go up and the local audi garage (Balckburn) had a quick look at it and have said that they think a pump has stopped working. They quoted £150 to diagnose the problem and possibly £150 for the pump. I was wondering if anyone could advise and also if the guy in Gt Harwood could repair - all help greatly received

I have been using I.C.A Audi in Preston for 2 years now. He does do Volkswagen & Bentley too. He was the chief tech for Audi Lancashire for years and only left to set up his own center. He knows the machines inside out and is really reasonable on price and very trustworthy. He also has all the correct Audi tooling and his workshop is immaculate. Just bought an allroad based on his opinion. ( No I dont work for him )

Just had a full service completed at Audi Motor Sport, Great Harwood on an Audi Coupe 2.6 for £260 - he's not VAT registered so that saved a few bob too!
Great phone contact throughout and no surprise bills either. They are part of the Good Garage Scheme and do the service to a detailed standard with full report provided etc.
I'll use them again next year to get the minor service, brake pads and cam belt change done. Can't fault the price, quality of work done or communications. Great job!

I've just tried audi motorsport in Great Harwood based on recommendations above. I phoned last week to book a service for this week and asked for a quick quote before I offer my business. Was told that they wud ring me back with a price so I waited.... and waited... I was too busy with work to ring back and ofcourse the bank hols also caused further disruptions.... Anyways, I rung them yesterday morning and advised I was looking at bringing the car in for a service and a lady picked up the phone. I informed her that I'd rung last week and was told I'd get a call back and she promptly interrupted that she'd rung me on 4-5 occasions but got no answer and that she'd left at least 2-3 messages to call back which I certainly didn't get, then she spoke to me with a tone implying that I'd given them the wrong no. on purpose!... So I asked her to read the mobile no back to which she seemed to hesitate and then replied with my mobile no but missed a digit in the middle.... Now it doesn't take Einstien to work out that its nigh on impossible to leave a msg to a 10 digit no. as this wudn't be recognised! When I pressed her on this she flipped on the phome before what I thought she'd hung up..... But then I cud hear her shouting to Jamie in the background that I'd rung and gone off my head her! I tried to shout that I can hear everything but she'd obviously left the phone unmanned! She then carried on wittering about how she was the victim and how I'd so called verbally abused her! Then I heard further shouting while I tried to shout how I cud still hear the convo and to pass the phone to Jamie as I'd had enough of her but the phone soon went dead... Then I got a call from her one min later to advise me not to bother coming down as my business was not needed there! I was reeling so travelled down to the garage myself and spoke with Jamie to make sure my side of the story was heard! I've never come across anyone so rude in the professional business until I'd spoke with her! I gave him the whole story and also advised I'm not bringing my business to him based on this experience as I wasn't looking at anything in return other than to let them know I'd heard how she'd behaved and how uncivilised the whole situation was as I wudn't have rung on this day if I was out to waste time! He didn't say anything and I just left it at this.... Im not happy with this situation to say the very least so thought I'l make sure other people are aware of this.... No offers of consolidation or anything.... I may as well add I once used this garage previously for a timing belt and waterpump... Which he did do a good job of however, I've got low side skirts and I noticed (not when I picked up the car but later during the week) that the front bit of the sideskirt attached to the rear of the drivers side front wheel arch was cracked and glued back together, which I know was certainly fine when I washed the car in the week running up to the garage appointment! Now, I know they have to jack up the drivers side in order to get to the opening of the timing belt! They'd obviously realised and tried to hide it with a dodgy patch up job, which had me reeling even more as I'd dropped the car in the morning and was told it would be ready by 5, but I couldn't pick it up until 6:30 when I rung to confirm I was able to pick up the car! I phoned him straight away once I saw the crack and thought about how the situation had occurred as he was the only person I'd left the car with unmanned! I went ape and he tried to deny but soon offered a discount on the following job I had planned in with him which is why I didn't pursue it at the time as he did advise he would rather I go away happy rather than disgruntled, so I accepted a £50 discount as I thought thats how much the damage was worth... Credit to the guy, he did offer it so I'm not going to hold this against him but the fact that he tried to hide this with a botched up glue job isn't amusing and only cause of the latest incident, I felt compelled to write this.... No probs with the jobs in general tho but just be wary.... The most agitating thing of all is I have recommended atleast 6-7 people who at least 3 I know of has had work done with him netting up a total of atleast £2000! But never again!

    nice story.

If you want to be taken seriously, you might consider using punctuation where needed.

I'm slightly curious as to why, if you have so little time to waste, you bothered to visit a garage that asked you not to.
