Please help! Audi A4 1.9tdi injector electrical fault

Hi all, previously posted a thread (Please Help When starting the car judders, possible injector?) about possible injector fault. Had it looked at by the mechanic who initially said it was one faulty injector. I happened to pickup a brand new injector cheap. It was changed but the problem persisted. A compression test was done and all is well with the engine.

I have been told by him that injector 4 has either got an electrical problem, not the injector but the wiring. He said this could be due to water going into the passenger footwell. Or the issue could be more major and the ECU could be knackered.

Now I dont know how to continue...

I only purchased the vehicle a few weeks ago and have literally driven 20 miles if that!

May be only something simple,maybe anti shudder valve problem or ?
First have someone scan for fault codes with vcds take note of faults,erase and rescan.again take note of remaining fault code

Given that it's the 1.9, I would suggest an injector loom before anything else

Would you know how much a new injector loom would cost from Audi? Internet searches is coming up with approx £50 which seems ok. Also is it a DIY job or should I take it to a garage?

+1 for injector harness. £50ish from TPS.
