That's a really nice colour. My current A6 Avant is Daytona Grey pearl and I've noticed they are becoming very common in that colour. I saw an S6 Avant in Sepang Blue and thought it looked stunning, so have been thinking about biting the bullet and ordering a BE in Sepang as an exclusive colour, but I've taken on board the comment about them becoming common and what they look like when dusty. £2,155 is a lot of money to pay for an exclusive colour only to find it's not that exclusive!

Looks like Kingfisher is no longer being offered as a standard colour on any Audi so presumably it will switch to being a Custom colour which will cost even more!

I agree Sepang in the show room looks beyond amazing, but i tend to look at the cars in the garage car park, as that is what they will look like when you get them out on the road - and Sepang just lost something with me - also somebody on another audi forum said that the one he had was a bugger to keep clean and showed even minor scratches.

Finally got a build date for the kingfisher blue bi tdi from the beta test audi website - 11th jan. It's going to be a long 6 months!! I ordered in May so it's looking like a 9 month wait in total.

My bitdi avant was ordered early June. Build will be mid December. I suspect it's the bitdi that's causing the delay - too many orders, not enough spaces on the production line. Will be worth the wait though.

I think it's the combo of exclusive paint and lunar silver super sport seats but as u say, it will make a nice late Xmas present.

I was told that exclusive paint would certainly push the build date, but my last 2 cars and my wife's Q5 have both been brought forward a month or 2 from the original slot, so fingers crossed for you that it will be a quicker delivery than expected! Amazing colour - I saw the Glasgow kingfisher blue when I ordered my RS6 and spent the next few months wondering if I'd regret going for the option Sepang - I don't at all seeing it in the flesh, but I don't want to spot a kingfisher blue when I'm out and about just in case......you'll love the bitdi too. Congrats.
