theres an o ring inside that leaking pipe joint needs replacing, it wont put you into limp mode though.
QUOTE=edzha90;961048]Also I found leakage (big bottom hose for antifreeze) I was wondering why I need to top-up antifreeze tank once in 3 weeks time. would that affect somehow system as well ?

Just the o ring providing the plastic pipe end is not cracked. O ring sits in a groove in the plastic pipe end. Costs about £1.50 from dealer, or it did last time i got some.

It will have no effect on the vacuum system but coolant is expensive. Take off the hose and check the seal it may have perished

I found this vacuum kit, what do you think guys?

VW Passat Silicone Pipe Vacuum Hose Red - Engine DressUp Kit ID5730 | eBay

I asked seller and he said:

In this kit there is 2 Metres of 3mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose
2 Metres of 5mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose
2 Metres of 8mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose
2 Metres of 10mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose

    Are they all required hoses?

today I took out the plastic bit (what covers engine) and searched again for broken hoses.. not a sign from broken hoses, but in pictures you can see they are a bit dodgy. In above provided link does that kit would be enough to change all vacuum hoses ? also hoses under the plastic bit ?

Can someone tell me what is this part and what's for ? as I think it gives silly noise when engine is on.

Those hoses in your latest photo are fuel leak off hoses from the injectors, don't touch them unless they are leaking fuel. The thing making the noise is the fuel injection pump. You seem to be getting vacuum hoses and fuel hoses mixed up. Maybe best if you get someone who knows more about the engine to change the vacuum hoses and sort out the leaking o ring, or even a garage, shouldn't take them too long to do.

I get it now, I am still learning, I have learned lots of stuff from forums and internet, so don't worry. I was just wondering if above kit would fit for passat b5 ? or I will need more hoses ?

I went to garage today, they said that turbo actuator is not moving enough as it should be.

Also they said it's due by lots of carbon, so it makes vnt mechanism stuck, can that be true? Is it possible to clean somehow without taking everything apart ?

I have drove this car about 20000km since I bought it and I had couple trips, like last summer through europe 3000km where I was speeding a lot, so a lot of carbon should be out already ?

Next week I will check with another garage to be 100% sure that is the issue.
    Regards
