    this morning , opened boot , put coat in boot , closed boot , but boot wouldn't stay shut tried about 4 times - then relalised then car key was in my coat, removed key from boot , closed boot it stayed shut.

    any one else notice experienced this ? (I Have advanced key- not sure if this makes a differance)

    Yup, advanced key will stop you locking it in side.

    doesn't mention this in the manual-nice touch

    BTW Chris, Q7 gone now have 2.0tdi sline with tech pack ,comfort pack
