Has any one fitted ET33 alloys to their B8, and if so any issues?
I'm looking to fit Rotor TTRS 19" with an ET33 offset.
I have 8.5x19 ET45 with 255/35/19 and have no issues.

    Thanks,
    Brian

TTRS wheels will not fit your B8 as your centre bore is 66.5mm and the TTRS is 57.1mm. Only the current A4, A5 and A6 use the larger centre bore size (annoyingly!). You can go down in centre bore size, but up is a wee bit trickier.

I'm sick now.. Thanks for your reply.

Look at these on ebay.. Seems they come in the correct bore size

The A5 rotors will bolt-on however, you need to be aware that the offset on the B8 A4 is ET43. This means that the outer rim on an A5 wheel will protrude 10mm more than a proper B8 A4 fitment rim. The offset is different because the A5 has slightly wider shoulders than the A4 and it's far more economical for a manufacturer to tweak the offset on the rims than to re-engineer suspension/hub assemblies to make the wheels fit the different bodywork.

With that in mind, the reduced offset may cause you bodywork clearance/wheel sticking out of arch issues. I would recommend you hold-out for a set of ET43 B8 A4 specific fitment rotors, but others on here may have sucessfully fitted 19" A5 wheels to their A4's.
Anyone else want to chip in here?

You could always see if a A5 owner local to you on this forum will let you try on one of their wheels before you commit. I think they're a friendly enough bunch over on the A5 forum....

I remember the good old days when pretty much any rim from any model of the same manufacturer would bolt straight on...... :-(

It looks like 10mm wont make any difference on the rare but not sure of the front. If anyone has them fitted I would like to hear about it.
I like the look of the 9J ET33 in these compared to the ET43. The spokes have a better look.

Not many A5 near me with them wheels on and not as many A5's around in Ireland with them wheels on.

I bought some gorgeous A5 wheels with winter tyres on last winter. Came off an A5 3.0TDi. Gutted to find when fitted that they protruded beyond the wheelarches on my B8 3.0 TDi.
Had to sell em again. Kept the winter tyres and fitted them to some bog standard B8 alloys off EBay. Got there in the end.
Motto, take offset very seriously guys!

What ET offset were the wheels you bought and sold on.

Sorry - cannot remember for sure - think they were offset 29 though.

I only really got to grips with this issue after finding these two web sites:

Home - Wheelfitment.eu - PCD, Offset, Center Bore, mounting and tire size data
Tyre equivalence: Car tyre tips - Pneus Online

    Enjoy!

Think I'm going to stick with OEM wheels with the ET43 to be safe.
