I need to lift the gear stick gaiter on my 2011 A3 to grease up a couple of squeaks - however I'm not 100% sure how to remove the gaiter. I don't want to start putting a screwdriver under the edges to try and prise it off or just pull at it for fear of breaking it, but no doubt there's an easy way to do it. I don't need to completely remove it as such either, just need access to below. Can anyone help? Thanks!

the surrounding trim comes off around it and then I'm sure you'll be able to work it out

no screwdrivers needed, surrounding trim comes off as jay says then the gaitor itself is held onto the trim with push-clips.
