Hi, I have a 53 A3 2.0 FSI. Have had problems with coolant warning light and overrunning fans and have had both fans and switch replace. However now leaking water badly. Been in garage who have checked all the obvious things like water getting into engine/exhaust and they have run it on test for a day but couldn't find a leak. It's going back in on Thursday this week so would be grateful to hear if anyone else had had a similar problem and have managed to get it fixed.

There is a common coolant leak on 2.0ltr fsi A3, coolant flange on side of cylinder head cracks or the o-ring leaks. Its on the right handside of the engine as you face it, difficult to see but if the leak is bad enough coolant runs down the block and can be seen underneath. Between certain chassis range the dealers was replacing the o-rings. Hope this helps
