Not sure if it's been stolen, or it's fallen off. Anyone know if I can get them prepainted anywhere?

Audi dealer wants £107 to supply and fit a replacement. That's not including the 80 mile round trip to get to them... Not seeing anything on ebay, and breakers search isn't coming up with much.

Anyone know if this is a common fault?

Annoyingly, the part is £17 inc VAT, it's the painting and labour that's the killer.

OK got a handle from Audi and got a friend that works in a paint shop to spray it.

I just need to fit it... I'm a little confused how it attaches. It seems to hook under on the bottom side, and then there are slots in the top. Does the metal silver clip slide sideways to stop it coming off? Or is it just stuck on? (Or both).

Do I need some kind of exterior grab adhesive?

There's a sliding catch along the top of the handle. Put the trim on to the handle then use a credit/store card to slot in along the top of thee handle as you pull it up ever so slightly, slide the latch over from right to left. Have to do it every few weeks on mine as it works loose, very annoying!!!

Which way does it slide in that picture? It doesn't seem to move at all when I tried to work out how it fitted

If that's your drivers door(which it looks like) then it should be right to left. Maybe you need to slide it left to right first?
