I was away in Portugal from 15th - 29th March on a training trip. I'd missed about 4 weeks of track work prior to this due to an ankle problem which now seems to be on the mend, so it was good to catch up on what I'd missed! 2 sessions a day for 2 weeks straight, one in the morning around 8am, and the next around 3pm, each lasting roughly 2 hours.

Here's a few pictures and videos from the trip, not all training related!

All pictures/videos were taken on my Oneplus One...

    Nice pics!
How much running is involved in a 2hr sprint session?
I've genuinely no idea as I do endurance so a 2 hr run session is basically 2 hrs of running all way under LT.

Most of my sprint sessions at home are roughly 90 minutes.

The first 30-40 minutes are warmup and stretching, followed by some speed drills or flexibility work over hurdles for 10-15mins or so.

The remainder of the session will then be running, which on Wednesday for example was 5 x 150m at 98% effort, which for me is around 16.5 seconds.

So excluding any jogging I do during the warmup, the actual sprinting in a session like that totals 90 seconds for a 90 minute session.

Then I spend 20 minutes or so at the end cooling down and doing more stretching.

So to summarise: 90 minute session = 88.5 minutes of warmup/stretching/rest between runs + 1.5 minutes actual running. haha
