Terraclean Review

Hi Guys,

So with her being 1 year old since I've owned her I thought I'd treat her to a Terraclean.

It was carried out a Xavier Auto Clinic in west London at a cost of £100.

I've always ran her on Shell V Power Nitro+ Diesel so I know it would be clean/efficient internally.

So the process takes about 45-mins to 1 hour.

1: 30 mins running on Terraclean
2: 15 mins soaking it up
3: 15 mins at 2200RPM to clean it out

My initial verdict is it really hasn't made any difference, I think if you are running on good quality fuel it won't make any difference. But I guess from now I will not be Terracleaning it again, just using V Power.

Thanks for sharing that.That's one thing off my list to do than,as I only ever treat her to shell V power.

Glad to save you some money....spend it elsewhere. But I would say if you run on supermarket fuel, get it done, it does work. Just think of it like Shell V Power on steroids. I only did it because I bought her with 45k on the clock and didn't know how the previous owner treated her. So after covering 10k on V Power I think it cleaned her right out.

Hi, I've been thinking about getting this done. Brought my 2008 2litre TFSI 6 months ago and it's on 46K miles.

It's just that I only do short trips (8k per year) and run on Tesco unleaded.

Not sure if I should expect anything noticeable apart from peace of mind.

Unless the handbook tells you to use the other fuel then standard stuff is just as good.

You may be running too hot through the cat/DPF.
