    did a retrofit cruse controll last year car was up for mot but found we had no high beam (worked but wouldnt stay on so a fail) spoke to the very helpfull seesidevw wear i purchased parts and after they spoke to vw tec i was advised i would need to change the slider frome old unit which i did,after puting back together it was working but not as it shoud then it just stoped working re no high beam have now lost also elec windows starts and cuts out sttait away ive also got the red circle with ! in centre flashing and get 3 long errer tones when i switch on vag com wont connect to car comes up with can not ready
    any one have any thorts??
    update
    after leaving battery off overnight
    and realised what i did (me rushing as mot due) i had snapped the pin that operates the high/low beam and asume it was stuck inbetween the to
    have now fixed this part and reasembled now starts and runs windows now working ligts all working all i have now is wipers not working and
    mag-com says open circuit on switch and motor
    bust washers are working and so are the computer controlls on same switch
    cheers for any help offerd

    have now fixed most faults as high/low beem pin was broke got stuck inbetween and messed system up
    but still no wipers working

    Can't really see how the indicator stalk should affect the wipers unless something has been snagged/pulled.
