Hi, hoping someone may have had this happen to their SEAT and may have a fix.....

All of a sudden I've lost FM signal (FM only, AM is 100% fine) on my stereo (SEAT Leon FR 170 TDI - 58' Plate) I can't see any signs of any damage to aerial on the roof and I don't recall any knocks etc that would have dislodged anything (cabling etc).

Has anyone ever had this happen to them before. I have purchased a set of release keys from Halfords to remove the stock headunit to see if any cables have un-attached themselves but would be keen to hear any suggestions in the meantime......

    Thanks Alex

This is a guess as mine is a mk1 leon, but as the design is probably german, "and why make it simple when it will work just as well complicated", they have a signal amplifier in the roof aerial fed by 12v sent up the middle of the coaxial. Great fun getting the headlining away enough to get at the bolt to change it out. What was wrong with a piece of wire?
