    Default passat b5 fob – 08-03-2015,02:14 AM
    i got a 2000 Passat 1.6 but I only got a key with no fob. I want to know how to check did it come with a fob and how can I find out part number and frequency so I can get a replacement

    The 2000 Passat (B5) that I had, had a fob with a flip out key; what key do you have at the moment?

    You can buy a "flip" key and transponder chip. The buttons on the flip key will do nothing. You'll need a locksmith or main dealer to code the key. Re Grille: Unless you can find a good one in a beakers you'll have to go aftermarket. Websites like Kamei FK etc sell them
