Managed to find a full set of injectors from an 08 Audi for £500, with 3 month warranty. Ordered and booked car in to have the work done, total cost £800.

That seems a pretty good deal.

My only concern is they're second hand injectors and could start leaking also. There's a guy who refurbishes injectors, may be a good option

Well, I will be able to keep the old ones, so I can look at getting them re-furbished at a later date, but these replacement injectors have been the current part since 2009, suggesting they should be ok, bear in min the injectors I have now came with the car in 2005, so are pretty old.

Well that's all gone to poop. Apparently whoever they were getting the injectors from sold the engine, they then said they had access to another set for £950 but wanted the old ones as well, which had bells ringing. If I am buying used injectors from a breakers then they don't need the old ones back, suggesting I am either buying recon ones or cheap chinese copies. Ive asked for my money back on them.
Having had a look, the engine is the BMK model, and the injectors are the god damn Piezo ones, so I am pretty sure they cannot be reconditioned.
