    She's alive. Got the final few things connected this morning. Topped up the coolant and fired her up

    Ignore the scrape sound it was a metal gaurd on the touching the back of the tensioner pulley. Sorted that now.
    But now have to sort out a coolant leak from the new water pump. Someone's going to get a kicking
    My friend who's had 9 engine rebuilds so far has never heard one so quiet and well tuned

    If you took the cap off you have to have it somewhere, plenty in scrapyards anyway. Good work on the rebuild BTW

    Mrs took it off to refill the water as the new pump is leaking and then drove home with it loose in the engine bay. No idea were its gone. Been up and down her route home several times. Can't find it and scrap yard is 20 miles away.

    She's still running an doing well only managed to put 60miles on her so far as it's been a busy month at work.
    Getting fed up of going so slow to run her in tho roll on 500 miles
