Car ordered, and the wait begins!

Thanks for everyone thoughts and input on my other thread, I have now ordered the car and must admit that the prospect of a 12 week wait is making me a little sad!

I went and drove the car with the 20's and 21's and although the 21's certainly provide a harder ride, it is restrained and controlled as opposed to erratic and crashy.

So the spec I went for -
2015 MY BiTDI BE
Mythos Black
21" Titanium Rotors
All black interior
Tech pack advanced
Parking pack advanced
Ambient lighting

I should get a delivery date at some stage this week, anyone had a longer wait than the 12 weeks they advise as standard?

I was quoted 12 weeks. It's turned out 9 weeks until build plus 3 for delivery so as expected. I was offered some strange choices to get an earlier build slot, e.g. ibis white instead of moonlight blue, tech pack, BE. Other than the paint all of these are additional parts so why couldn't they be deleted (they were still far enough out that the car would not even be scheduled for production). Maybe it was a ploy to up-sell? The ibis white was probably in stock somewhere.
